Jungle Book: Auditions: Character Descriptions

The cast of Jungle Book calls for both human and animal roles:

Three adult women as humans.
One adult woman as a female wolf.

One adult male as a human.
Three adult males: one as a bear, one tiger and one wolf.

Fourteen childrens’ roles:
One as the boy Mowgli
Thirteen animal roles as monkeys, wolves, peacock, mongoose, panther, jackal, python, bat, cobra.

Adults are those 18 and over; children are fourth grade and above. Age ranges for the above parts are guidelines only.

Anyone auditioning for a non-human part will be expected to mimic one or more from the above list. There will also be cold readings from the script.
